About J Carey

J. Carey Scott is an entrepreneur, political consultant, writer, certified crazy person and redneck philosopher. He is currently seeking answers to dilemmas that plague all midlife wanderers, and is still looking.

Since finding no great answers, he wonders if there are any real questions or if problems do exist. Some things cannot be known, so the search continues. One idea Carey has is to create this little group he calls “Grumpy Old Guys”. But since it’s not a group exclusive to guys, nobody admits to being old and grumpy is fleeting, maybe that’s not the best name. He likes the acronym, GOG, though. Maybe.

One thing Carey is passionate about is the idea of giving a bit back. He likes the way Ralph Waldo said it, “..by a garden patch, a healthy child or an improved social condition; to know one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded”. Late at night, Carey wishes he had said that.

Carey lives in Panama City, Florida. Carey says that’s right, smack dab in the middle of what he calls “The Redneck Riviera”. He has 2 adult children and is married to Mrs. Poohs. The nearly famous dog, Henry Nueman, lives with Carey, Mrs. Poohs and the Pooh Mama on Watson Bayou in Panama City, Florida.

I like the page format. Pretty disappointed about this weekend, but the FDA is throwing the whole idea up in the fan. I hope people are awake enough to see what’s going on.
    Have a good weekend
